After having a year in various lockdowns and students using their front lounge to dance, the school decided it was an opportunity not to be missed in 2022 for the children to perform and once more feel free to express themselves through dance.

The show is produced by Helen Allen and we have many performances choreographed by the different teachers at the school, giving the show an exciting variation of dance styles.

The show is a vibrant mix of acts from Moulin Rouge to Mamma Mia and also showcases some beautiful classical greek and ballet. This year our main character ballet is Maleficent, Mistress of Evil and this is a perfect opportunity for the senior students to develop both in acting and dance and really get into character.

Let's also not forget the baby ballet who often steal the show with their first attempt at being on stage..everyone has to start somewhere and we love to see their confidence grow each time they go on stage.

A Chance to Dance will be a very special show for many of our senior students as it will be their last show at the school but never say never as we still have many past students still treading the boards this year in the adult tap!
