About Mr Ashwin Reddy, MBBChir, FRCOphth, MD - Paediatric Ophthalmologist.
Mr M. Ashwin Reddy is a consultant paediatric ophthalmologist at Barts and The London NHS Trust and Moorfields Eye Foundation Trust Hospital.
He leads the Paediatric Ophthalmology service at the Moorfields Eye Hospital (the largest children’s eye service in Europe) and also leads the Retinoblastoma service in London (one of only two centres in the UK).
He is actively interested in teaching and teaches medical students in his role as Senior Lecturer Queen Mary College, London University. In addition he has founded a course for paediatricians interested in children’s eye conditions.Having graduated from Cambridge University, he undertook basic and higher surgical training in Leicester and East Anglia (Ipswich/Norwich/Cambridge) respectively. He completed a higher degree at the Institute of Ophthalmology, London on the molecular genetics of inherited cataracts.

About Joe Mcquillar, BMedSci Orthoptics (Hons) - Paediatric Ophthalmologist.
Joe completed his bachelor of medical science in Orthoptics at the University of Sheffield in 2006. Following this he worked at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield and the Sheffield Children's Hospital gaining experience in a wide range of clinics including paediatric visual impairment and complex ocular motility.
He has been working at the Royal London Hospital and St Bartholomew's for 7 years and was appointed Head Orthoptist in 2011. During his time at the Royal London he has helped develop the specialist services provided for patients with special needs, hearing impairment, Down's syndrome, Adults with learning difficulties and patient's with complex neurological and facial trauma.
Joe has recently had a chapter published in an atlas and a manual of operative maxillofacial trauma surgery and has co-authored a journal paper on neuro-oculomyotonia. Joe is passionate about orthoptics and the treatment of children's eye conditions.
The evening commences at 18:00 with finger food by Sally Clarke with cheeses and cold meats, fresh bread, crudites, tiny pies and sparkling drinks to welcome you. We'll begin the presentation at 18:30 with a short Q & A session afterwards followed by networking and drinks.

We're holding the event at our clinic on Harley Street. There is metred parking on the street and a parkade nearby. We suggest you take public transport. The closest Underground stations are Baker Street, Bond Street and Regent's Park.
