This paper outlines key moments in the emergent visibility of the Holocaust survivor diaspora in Aotearoa/New Zealand (NZ), as exemplified in the contributions of three Wellington-based Holocaust survivors to testimony projects, museum building and education, and commemoration initiatives. It focuses on the years from 1985 to 2015 and positions these local contributions in the context of international Holocaust-related initiatives and divergences from them.
