Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

This free and friendly day event celebrates co-operatives & co-operation in the East of England as well as the centenary of the Co-operative Party. It is an opportunity for people to come together, to find out what is happening in our region and further field as well as to form ideas and connections for the future.

ALL are very welcome to join us. You may be involved in or with co-operatives, be a member of the Co-operative Party, have an interest in co-operative ways of working or just want to find out more.

There will be fantastic speakers, stimulating discussion sessions and time to chat as well as a good lunch!

So far our confirmed speakers include:

Dame Pauline Green -The Co-operative World Today
Gavin Shuker MP - 100 years of the Co-operative Party
Sally Kelly - Co-operatives East and co-operation in the East
Mark Merrywest (Co-operative Education East)
To be named from East of England Co-operative
Adrian Ashton

We are also very pleased that First Question Co-operative will be running the discussion sessions

Stands and space for literature are available - just let us know if you are interested when you book

A big thank you to the Co-operative Party and local Co-operative Party Councils for covering the costs of this event and to Co-operatives East for helping to organise the event.
