Community Movement & Breathwork Workshop

with Rob & Serene @ The Open Space

Join us for movement, breath, and connection, where we come together as a community to explore the power of the breath. This is a safe, inclusive space - no expectations, no judgment, just an opportunity to reconnect.

Movement

You will be gently guided through mindful movement, creating a mind-body connection. This practice is accessible to all abilities. Through movement, we reconnect with our breath and body, grounding ourselves fully in the present moment.

🌟 What to Expect in Our Movement Workshop:

Fun & Playful Exploration – Move with curiosity and joy.

💫 Presence & Awareness – Connect with your body in new and meaningful ways.

We weave together breath, somatic movement, embodied practices and music to cultivate a deeper awareness of our bodies, sensations, and emotions.

Conscious Connected Breathwork

Breathwork is a powerful therapeutic practice that uses deep, rhythmic breathing to invite greater self-awareness and emotional clarity. Some common experiences include:

✔ Deep relaxation

✔ Emotional release & catharsis

✔ Reduced anxiety & stress

✔ Enhanced creativity & intuition

✔ A greater sense of presence & self-acceptance

This practice invites you to meet yourself with compassion, curiosity, and care.

Who We Are

Rob – Breathwork Facilitator & Trainee Transpersonal Psychotherapist

I am passionate about creating spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies and emotions in a way that feels safe and supportive. My journey into breathwork began after years of self-inquiry, ultimately leading me to train with Evolve Breath and Body, under the guidance of Natalie Keaney. Now undertaking advanced breathwork training, I bring a trauma-informed approach to my facilitation. With over 15 years of experience in the homelessness sector, I work closely with people navigating trauma, recovery, and self-discovery—an experience that deeply informs my work in breathwork.

Serene – Movement Facilitator

I’m passionate about movement and dance, shaping my work as a facilitator, and deepening my understanding of the mind-body connection. My love for dance began in childhood, eventually leading me to train in classical ballet and become an apprentice with the Singapore Dance Theatre at just fourteen. In 2014, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Mysore, India, followed by a Foundation in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga at the Kripalu Centre, Boston. I continue to develop my yoga practice and have learnt from Tias Little and Ana Forrest. I am also learning to play the Indian mridanga drum, a lover of Kirtan.

My background in the homelessness sector provided opportunities to teach yoga and movement practices at MIND, Solace Women’s Aid, and recovery centres across London. Today, I tailor embodied yoga practices for those who may find traditional studio experiences challenging, offering a gentle and welcoming space to explore movement in a way that feels safe, fun, and expressive.

Together, Rob and Serene create a space where you can move, breathe, and simply be—free from judgment.
