A Conversation About Design: How AI is Changing the World of UX

As the world becomes increasingly digitised and technology moves forward, the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is gaining more and more attention. It is hard to find someone these days who hasn't heard of the new chatbot, ChatGPT! But what impact is this having on the design industry?

Join us on Thursday 23rd March as we're joined by two industry leaders as they explain how they're bridging that gap between UX and new technologies in their roles.

Who will be speaking?

Akshay Garigiparthy, Design Lead & UX Advocate at Orange

Akshay leads the design exploration of future XR, Web3 and AI products and services. Prior to Orange, Akshay was a UX designer and product owner in AI/Robotics and PropTech startups. When his mind is not on designing things for tomorrow, he is thinking about aviation and what new food recipes to experiment with.

Talk Summary: Humane design - the delicate dance between UX and Technology that unlocks magical, yet humane experiences.

Rebecca Brindley, Digital Accessibility Lead at Natwest

Becks heads up a team at Natwest tasked with building an accessible bank by design, focusing on web and apps. Prior to this role, Becks has worked in both technical and UX roles, giving her a broad perspective and insight into how to create the best accessible experiences.

When she’s not working on accessibility, she runs code club sessions for her local school kids.

Talk Summary: Covering the opportunity AI is bringing to accessible experiences and how we can all play a part.
