Angela Saini is an award-winning science journalist, author and broadcaster.
She presents radio and television programmes for the BBC, and her writing has appeared across the world, including in New Scientist, Prospect, The Sunday Times, Wired, and National Geographic.
Angela's latest book, Superior: The Return of Race Science, explores the murky history of race science and the ways in which it is being resurrected in the 21st century. It has attracted enormous critical acclaim, and was a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize and the Foyles Book of the Year.
Angela will join the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde and Women in Surgery Scotland to discuss the ways in which racism pervades science and academia, the roots of this problem, and what we can do better to address it
