Consequence of War, a poignant, moving and revealing exhibition which draws attention to the effect of World War One, featuring internationally renowned artists Henry Moore, Paul Nash, Graham Sutherland and Henri Gaudier-Brzeska.

To mark this special exhibition, we invite you to a series of lectures on the consequences of World War One on music, art, society and religion.

'A Country Shaped By War: The Social Consequences of the First World War for the United Kingdom’ by Professor Gary Sheffield.

Professor Gary Sheffield is one of the UK’s leading military historians. Since 2013 Gary Sheffield has been Professor of War Studies at the University of Wolverhampton. He regularly writes for BBC History Magazine and History Today, and often appears on radio and television and writes in the national press. He advises the Department of Media, Culture and Sport and the Ministry of Defence on the First World War centenary.

Tickets are £5, or £15 for a 'pass' to all four lectures in the series:
