Event description

Description

Come and learn drypoint etching. What is this? The process is like using a pen without ink - literally, drawing with a dry point - to create an impression of a drawing that, when inked, can be printed from again and again. Think of it as etching without the acid, or engraving with an etching needle. Whistler and Picasso are two artists who made use of this technique.

If you wish to bring along an image that you'd like to copy, please do. Alternatively, we will have a supply of images that can be used.

No experience required.

Suitable for teenagers and adults. Please bring a packed lunch.

Booking essential.

This series of Creative Workshops in the landscape have been kindly funded by Awards for All.
