Absolutely not - we love it when players of other instruments join us.

I've never been to a Far North event - what is it like?

You will get a warm welcome, will be well looked after. We gather as much to play together as to socialise. Expect a hearty lunch and an enjoyable day in immersed in music.

Which tunes will we play? What if I don't know them?

We are building a Far North Repertoire through the events that we run. Fin will select a few sets of tunes and send out the audios and manuscripts for these ahead of time so you can familiarise yourself with them. You don't need to learn them perfectly.

Why is the ticket 'free'?

For our smaller events we try to avoid the ticket fee for you by collecting payment after you have registered interest.
