A Day of React
- Date: Friday 21st April
- Price: £40 each
- Level: Beginner
- Instructor: Joe Critchley
Two years ago, we ran a free “Evening of React” workshop from Strobe’s old office for a few folks. Since then, now we’re organising Manchester React User Group, we’ve realised there’s more people than ever who want to learn React.js and its principles.
This brings us to the present day — we’re organising a brand-new workshop. This time, we’ve scaled up a bit: we’re allocating spots for 16 people over at MadLab in Manchester. Tickets are £40 each, and will take place on Friday 21st April. The course lasts from 10am – 4:30pm, with one hour for lunch, and plenty of ten-minute breaks.
The day’s structure is yet to be set in stone (and probably won't be), but we’ll be focusing on React’s concepts, and how they can be applied to web apps, native apps, and other more experimental UIs. The course will be run by myself, and I promise not to introduce you to any superfluous parts of React; I intend to use the time we have to focus on core functionality and purpose.
Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- A laptop with Git & Node installed
- No food is included, so bring your own snacks
