Event description

Description

Explore the latest, innovative approaches to psychotherapy in this day of talks from leading psychologists and university professors.

Is it possible to significantly improve your psychological wellbeing in just one therapy session?

How can dance and movement be applied to heal the mind?

In the UK alone, there are over 29 types of psychotherapy to choose from. How can you choose the most effective one for you?

These are just some of the questions the speakers will discuss at The Weekend University this month.

In this lecture series, we’ll explore:

  • Single-Session Therapy; how this radical approach can be applied to achieve successful therapeutic outcomes, in record time
  • Dance Movement Psychotherapy; why dance, movement and creative expression offer a powerful therapeutic solution when the right words can’t be found
  • Pluralistic Therapy; why different clients need different therapies at different times, and how to choose the optimal approach for your situation.

You’ll learn how these insights can benefit your own life, but also your ability to help others too.
