Andrew Scattergood, CEO of The Royal Parks charity will give the Friends 2025 Annual Lecture.
Andrew joined The Royal Parks in 2015 and oversaw the organisation’s move, in 2017, from a government agency to its new status as an independent charity. The charity cares for London’s eight Royal parks and other open spaces, and its role is to conserve and enhance these historic and exceptional landscapes whilst also welcoming millions of visitors every year. Andrew was awarded the CBE in the King’s New Year Honours list for services to heritage and charity. Prior to joining The Royal Parks, Andrew held roles at Ofcom, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and the Foreign Office. He worked on the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
