Prof. Andy Whiting and Dr. Kevin Flower will treat us to an evening of discussion about the history of gin, methods of making gins and the background science. Andy and Kevin's talk will be interspersed with tasting sessions, using gins that will exemplify some of the discussion points in the talk, covering areas such as the impact of modern production methods, different gin styles, the effect of adding tonic and new directions.

The event is free of charge and open to all members of the public over 18.

Parking is available on site at Durham University. However, please note that there are a number of road works taking place in and around the Mountjoy area of the University at the moment, so please leave adequate time for accessing the site and parking as this can take longer than normal.
