What is the A Dog’s Trail Farewell Weekend?
The Farewell Weekend is your last chance to see all 40 large Snoopy sculptures displayed before they will be auctioned to raise money for Dogs Trust. The event will take place at Cardiff City Hall Lawn, Cardiff, CF10 3ND and you can book tickets online to view the exhibition within a 45-minute slot.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online at https://adogstrailfarewell.eventbrite.co.uk
Tickets will cost £5 for adults, £4 for concessions, £3 for children (3-15 years) and £12.50 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children.) Under 3’s go free. If you are booking for a school group do get in touch with adogstrail@dogstrust.org.uk.
Please note, tickets are non-refundable and subject to an online booking fee.
All funds raised from this event will support Dogs Trust, helping us to provide love, care and forever homes for over 14,000 of our furry friends each year.
How do the time slots work?
We advise that you arrive no earlier than ten minutes before your allocated time slot to allow time for queuing. If you arrive late but within your allocated time slot, you will still be able to enter. However, this will mean you will have less time to view the exhibition as your end time will remain the same. Unfortunately, we are unable to change your time slot once it is booked.
Please note, while there will be a limited number of walk-ins available these are not guaranteed. As such, we would strongly recommend booking a time slot to avoid disappointment.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring your Farewell Event ticket as proof of your time slot booking either on your mobile or as a printout and have this ready to show a member of the A Dog’s Trail team when you arrive. As this is outdoor event, please also come prepared for all weather conditions
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, with the exception of assistance dogs, we will not be allowing dogs into the exhibition space. The Farewell Event is a busy exhibition that can at times become crowded and noisy and as such is not the most suitable event for dogs.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the space is accessible for wheelchair users. Please note the exhibition takes place on a grassy area.
Is there parking nearby?
Paid parking is available at Castle Mews, Greyfriars Road, Dumfries Place and North Road.
