Travel: X1 bus from Pond St at 10:15 to St Lawrence Road and walk or Supertram to Meadowhall South/Tinsley tramstop and walk.

Description: Join us for a walk through the history of Tinsley before the railways, canals and factories changed the place forever. This walk is part of Tinsley Time and Travel, a two-year Heritage Lottery funded project exploring and celebrating the history of Tinsley and all the people who have traveled to it.

Terrain: Urban with some off road element.

Led by: Charlotte Head and Sally Rodgers, who make up the Community Heritage Team at Heeley City Farm. They have a wealth of knowledge about Tinsley and its unique heritage. They will be joined by an archaeologist with specialist local knowledge.

Limit: 15 including children
