It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…especially when you’re spending a cosy December afternoon crafting mistletoe and sipping tea at The Assembly House!
Join paper flower wonder-worker Meg from Floragami for a very special seasonal Crafternoon Tea, where you’ll create your very own everlasting mistletoe – made from paper and finished with beads.
As Meg says: “This elegant paper version with white jade beads lasts year after year - perfect for adding a little charm and hopefully a few kisses to your Christmas.”
What began as a hobby for Meg quickly blossomed into a flourishing (pun absolutely intended!) business. Her workshops bring people together for a few hours of creative rejuvenation, calm, and connection. “It’s a real delight to teach,” says Meg, “watching the stresses of the day melt away as stamens and petals are cut and shaped, and new friendships are formed.”
For £55 per person, your merry and mindful afternoon includes:

🍫 Chocolate Cream Tea with two triple chocolate scones, served warm with Nutella and clotted cream, plus a homemade hot chocolate laced with hazelnut syrup and topped with whipped cream

This elegant and joyful class is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike – bring a friend (or two!) and enjoy making something truly special. Meg’s take-home kits will also be available to buy if you’d like to keep crafting or share the festive spirit with someone else.
