A Forth Flood Forum for your community

Are you affected by flooding where you work or live? Has your community identified areas that need help tackling the effects of heavy rainfall? Are you part of a flood, resilience or climate group trying to work towards a better response to the issues of flooding?

If you work or live in the Forth Valley region (Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling council areas) and are concerned about flood issues please come along to have your say.

Delivered in collaboration with TCV's Community Flood Resilience Officer, we are looking to bring you together to discuss how a Forth-wide Forum dedicated to tackling flooding throughout the region might benefit your efforts. We've identified through our first two years in the Forth Valley Climate Action Hub there is a demand for a forum to share resources, learnings, data, to work strategically and collaboratively and feed in to the National Flood Resilience Strategy's request for communities to be at the heart of the flood response.

We will hear from:

• The Climate Hub about the development of the Forth Flood Forum
• TCV's Community Flood Resilience Officer
• The Scottish Flood Forum
• You about your priorities in tackling flooding

This is a free online event, it's a way to represent your community and we will ask for your participation digitally throughout the session. You don't have to turn your camera on or speak but please be ready to complete information about flooding in your community.

There will also be a chance to apply for funding for table top discussions in your area to talk more deeply about how to respond and adapt to our changing climate.

If you are not able to attend, please recommend someone else from your group/area who knows the issues you face with flooding and any plans you have to tackle it.
