Description

Appy for a talk or exhibitor stand here, please also register for the event or you will not be able to attend!

Building on the success of the Scan4Safety programme at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT), Yorkshire and Humber AHSN, in partnership with the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT), are running a one day event inviting industry, regulators and NHS partners to horizon scan for technologies that will enable a fully connected patient pathway.

The Scan4Safety foundation programme in Leeds has successfully increased patient visibility, hospital product tracking and understanding of the hospital’s supply chain, allowing LTHT to put the focus on patients, reduce the time spent on administrative tasks and work towards the national ambition of a paper-lite NHS. So far the program has saved £2.3 million and has a predicted return on Investment of 4:1.

The programme so far has focussed on:

  1. Patient - Unique identification

  2. Place - Location number

  3. Product - Catalogue management

  4. Inventory Management

  5. Product recall

  6. Purchase to pay

The event is designed to explore what technologies are available, potentially from other industries such as manufacturing and warehouse logistics, or soon to be available, that can be applied within a Hospital setting to fully inform a “connected patient pathway”. The event will involve:

(1) Talks from the NHS, Regulators and Industry; identifying unmet needs and showcasing upcoming technologies respectively.

(2) A ‘market hall’ networking session to promote discussion and showcase technology

(3) A round table session to discuss in more detail the technologies showcased.

Suppliers, Regulatory bodies and NHS stakeholders from across England are invited through the AHSN Network to attend. In order to ensure the most interest and best discussion on the day, if you wish to give a talk or exhibit on a stand we ask that you apply HERE

The information provided will form the basis of selecting who to present at the event.
