About this event
On 18th June 2022, the highly acclaimed Huddersfield Wind Band will be visiting St James’s Church in Wollaston, Stourbridge for an evening of Symphonic Sound together with their guests the National Flute Orchestra. The concert will feature a varied and exciting programme including the world premiere of the 'Huddersfield Overture', which the wind band commissioned from Tony Bridgewater, Musical Director of The National Flute Orchestra. It will also will include well known classics, jazz and popular items, culminating in a massed performance by both ensembles.
Proceeds for the concert will be going to the Mary Stevens Hospice. Tickets £10 adult; school children under 18 may attend the event with their family free of charge.
