A Gay Man’s Quest for Validation - Well Being

About this Event
There are common negative emotional patterns and triggers which prevent many gay men from fulfilling their true potential and being comfortable living their authentic, best lives. Through this course you will learn practical techniques to allow you to identify and change negative behaviour to find true acceptance and authenticity.
This course will contain four individual sessions meeting between 6-7pm on the following days:
Session 1 - Wed 17th Feb - The Root of the Problem
Session 2 - Wed 24th Feb - Uncovering Negative Patterns and Behaviours
Session 3 - Wed 3rd Mar - Love life, Relationships and Sex
Session 4 - Wed 10th Mar - Full Acceptance and Finding Inner Peace
Course Description
Over the course of the four sessions we will dissect and analyse how negative deep rooted thoughts (or shame) can manifest themselves throughout our lives, creating barriers and reinforcing negative emotional patterns and behaviours.
We will identify how many gay men use validation as a way to earn, justify or create self worth whilst exploring unhelpful, negative emotional behaviour.
Finally we will learn multiple techniques that can be used to empower us to find our true authentic path, find release from the grip of shame and end the thirst for validation.

Participation - My delegates wellbeing is paramount. As this is a mental health talk, not a group therapy session, please only participate in what you feel comfortable with.

As a Mindset Coach he works with both private clients and facilitates Mental Health online courses in Mindfulness and Positive Mindset. He is deeply passionate about Mental Health and, as a gay man, supporting the LGBT+ community for positive mental and health support is deeply important to him.
