A golden age of spinosaur discovery - Prof. N. Gostling. Univ. Southampton
Overview
Professor Neil Gostling will talk about the use of advanced techniques like CT scanning to reveal the brains, senses, and diversity of these semi-aquatic dinosaurs, uncovering new species in British fossils, and highlighting how collaborations with collectors and museums are revolutionizing paleontology. His teams research shows spinosaurs lived in ancient Britain over millions of years and were more diverse than previously thought, with different species inhabiting the region.
