Curious Training is a Brand New Manchester based early years training company, set up by Anne Crocker and Nicola Kirk... and we’ve started exploring!
We would like to invite you to our first course... ‘A Good Place to be Two’.
This is a half day course on 27th April, 9:30 - 12:30pm
Ticket per delegate £50, Early tickets are available now at £40
Two Year olds are a frequently discussed topic across the education sector. In early years settings, practitioners are often concerned that they are not meeting the needs of the Two year olds. In addressing these concerns it is essential for early years practitioners to develop a deeper understanding of the unique needs of these young learners.
During the course practitioners will explore theories behind young children’s development and how these relate specifically to Two year olds. We will explore how we can support children’s well-being, involvement and confidence. We will explore the importance of the physical environment in supporting children’s development.
What are the benefits? An opportunity to think and reflect on:
- The development to two year olds brains and bodies and the impact on their behaviour and learning.
- The importance of secure attachments and the role of the key person
- Your Image of a Two year old, and how you successfully support and nurture them through sensitive interactions and the physical environment.
- Your own practice and to plan improvements to your provision.
The session will be a mix of input and active learning enabling participants to gain new knowledge and work collaboratively with colleagues.
EYFS Teachers, Early Years practitioners. Suitable for new settings and those all ready working with Two year olds.
We'd love you to bring a jar (jam jar, coffee jar, or sauce jar etc) and fill it something that reflects 'Being 2' - anything that comes to mind when you think about being 2 - to share with us.
