About this event

  • 3 hours

Charities are facing a tough time, money is tight and demands on services are high.

Competition for funds and grants has never been more intense, and alternatives like loan-based social investment create their own challenges as well as opportunities.

These courses provide an opportunity for:

  • Trustees
  • Charity workers
  • Development workers and community practitioners
  • Those new to the world of charities
  • People needing a refresher

To look at what charities can do to:

  • Generate independent income
  • Understand where income may come from if you take up social investment

This event is a participant-led training course focusing in on the real needs of your charity. We will cover how charities can engage in trade and income generation without threatening charity status, tax regulations and allowances and fundraising limits and planning.
