About this event

If you are passionate about building human rights awareness in schools and with young people but are not sure where to start this is the session for you! We will explore how Amnesty works with schools in the UK, how to talk about the issues that we work on, and how to do it in a safe, inclusive and importantly fun way.

In this sessions participants will:

  1. Gain knowledge of how Amnesty works in schools in 2025
  2. Understand key duties that you have as an educator around safeguarding and inclusive practice
  3. Plan how you could work in schools, including discussing some key human rights case studies, including refugee rights and LGBTQ+ rights.

This is a reminder that these events take staff time to organise and run and places are limited. We very much encourage you to sign up if you are interested but if you later discover you are not able to to attend please login and cancel your ticket as soon as possible so someone else can attend. Thank you.
