About this Event

Due to the most recent COVID-19 restrictions we are aware there may be some disruption to scheduled events. We will be taking a view nearer March, when we have a clearer view of the situation, as to whether future events are able to take place. Please be aware that any tickets purchased for events cancelled as a result of COVID-19 will be offered the opportunity for a refund or re-book onto a future tour. Many thanks for your co-operation.

Join us to hear the untold story of Jack the Ripper’s victims and see this overlooked history. In this hidden history tour we celebrate the strength of women led to sell sex for survival, not a serial killer.

Visiting the streets where the women lived, we will explore what we know about their lives and commemorate their deaths. Alongside the historic, you’ll hear the stories of women still affected by sexual exploitation in the area today and how you can take action on these issues.

These tours are organised by Beyond the Streets which, through the Door of Hope project, offers routes out of sexual exploitation for women in the same area of east London today.

  • Tours depart from St Botolph without Aldgate at 6.30pm, each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and finished back at St Botolph without Aldgate.

  • Tour tickets cost £10 or £7 for students, over 65's or those recieving income support. Advanced booking essential.
