Event description

Description

Join us to hear the untold story of Jack the Ripper’s victims. In this hidden history tour we celebrate the strength of women forced to sell sex for survival, not a serial killer.

Visiting the streets where the women lived, we will explore what we know about their lives and commemorate their deaths. Alongside the historic, you’ll hear the stories of women still affected by sexual exploitation in the area today and how you can take action on these issues.

  • Tours depart from St Botolph without Aldgate at 6.30pm & 8.30pm on 2nd, 9th, 16th & 30th November 2017, then on a monthly basis throughout 2018.

  • Tour tickets cost £5, advanced booking essential.

  • Tour ticket includes refreshments provided by Luminary Bakery and free admission to the East End Women: The Real Story Exhibition on display at St Botolph without Aldgate.

  • Those booking onto the 8.30pm tour should arrive at St Botolph without Aldgate at 8pm for refreshments and a chance to view the exhbition before the tour. The 6.30pm tour will finish back at St Botolph without Aldgate at 8pm, giving those joining us half an hour to view the exhbition and enjoy refreshments.
