Description

As part of Birmingham Heritage Week, an illustrated talk on Harper’s Hill, James and Annie Watt’s first family home in Birmingham, with researchers George Demidowicz and John Townley using maps, photos and archive sources to piece together the history of James Watt’s and the area that was to become the Jewellery Quarter.

Developed as part of the James Watt 2019 Bicentenary programme, we welcome George and John to deliver their talk at 1000 Trades, just a stones throw from the site of Harper’s Hill.
