Fr Michael Barnes SJ will be giving a 4-week course exploring the origins of Nostra Aetate, surveying its successes and raising the question: if Nostra Aetate was being written today, what would it look like?
The course is suitable for all those with an interest in exploring the origins of the Catholic Church's approach to interreligious dialogue. Catholics and non-Catholics alike are invited to attend.
The course consists of 3 lectures given by Fr Michael at Vaughan House, 46 Francis Street, London, SW1P 1QN. These will take place from 6 - 7.30pm on the following Tuesdays: 7th, 14th & 21st October.
The final week of the course - Tuesday 28th October - will be an evening celebrating 60 years of Nostra Aetate. This event will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street, London. There is no need to separately register for this event, if you have already signed up to the Discovering Nostra Aetate course.
The course is free and refreshments will be provided. Any donations to cover the cost of producing this course would be greatly appreciated.
