A journey through the Crouch Valley - wine tasting event

Join us at patch Colchester for this special collaboration event between The English Wine Tasting Company and Crouch Ridge Estate.

Sommelier Steve will take us through 3 Crouch Ridge wines, whilst we showcase 3 comparator wines from vineyard neighbours in the Crouch Valley. A welcome drink and nibbles (crackers, crisps) are also included.

Join us to discover some wonderful wines from the most densely populated wine area in England, and ask Sommelier Steve your tricky wine questions!

This tasting event is expected to last 2 hours, with the option to stay a little longer to socialise and enjoy any remaining wine and crisps.

Wine Tasting Events

• Your booking is not secured until payment is fully received – all events must be paid for in advance.
• E-tickets will be sent to your email account once you have paid for your event booking. Remember to check your spam or junk folder if they do not land in your main inbox!
• If you can no longer attend the event, you can cancel your booking by contacting us at emma@englishwinetasting.co.uk

Cancellation policy:

1. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the event, you will be entitled to a refund, or you may transfer your booking to another event, or you may request a 1-year credit which is redeemable against any future event.
2. If you cancel less than 4 weeks but more than 2 weeks before an event, a refund will not be given but you may transfer your booking to another event, or you may request a 1-year credit which is redeemable against any future event.
3. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before an event, a refund will not be given and you will not be entitled to transfer your booking or receive any credit.

• When issuing refunds, we reserve the right to deduct unrecoverable payment processing fees incurred with the booking.
• In the event of 'no-shows' - no refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided.
• On occasion due to unforeseen circumstances we may need to postpone or reschedule an event. If alternative date or a credit is not acceptable, we will refund payment in full. The refund or credit is limited to the value of the event.
• Where circumstances are beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to postpone and reschedule all or part of any course or event and no refunds will be offered.
• We reserve the right to change the venue of any event to one of equal or superior quality, within the same vicinity.
• We reserve the right to make minor changes to the content of the event and the wines sampled.
• We reserve the right to ask any person to leave any event if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.
• We reserve the right to stop serving alcohol to anyone who is intoxicated.
• You must be 18+ to purchase and attend any of our tasting events. We will not serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18. Proof of age may be requested at the beginning of the event if you are lucky enough to look under 21.
