Monday 23rd June 2025 - Two culinary powerhouses will join forces this June for an exclusive, one-night-only dining experience at London’s fine-dining Indian gem, Vatavaran. Michelin-starred Chef Rohit Ghai and Korean-American chef and TV personality Judy Joo will collaborate on an exclusive Chef’s Table evening celebrating a bold fusion of Korean and Indian cuisines. This will be the first of a new, exciting series of one-off chef table collaborations held at Vatavaran, packed with bold, imaginative cuisine combinations. 


Kicking off the The Vatavaran Table series, this intimate dinner will feature a meticulously curated multi-course KorIndian Feast, combining the fermented funk and fire of Korean cooking with the intricate spicing and depth of Indian flavours.


The Menu: KorIndian Feast (£65pp)

Starter: 

Tandoori soy BBQ chicken with pickled uttapam

Main Courses:

Lamb and kimchi biryani

Yuzu fish curry

Doenjang lentils

Cucumber yuzu raita

Kimchi cheese kulcha

Dessert: 

Ice cream sundae with a KorIndian twist

Drinks: 

Four specially curated cocktails or beer pairings


Michelin-starred Rohit Ghai is one of the UK’s most celebrated Indian chefs, known for elevating contemporary Indian cuisine with precision and flair. From leading Michelin-starred kitchens at Jamavar, Trishna, and Gymkhana to launching acclaimed solo ventures like Kutir and Manthan, Rohit has carved a reputation for visionary plates and refined technique. Now heading up Vatavaran in Knightsbridge, he brings his signature elegance to the heart of London.

Judy Joo is a trailblazing Korean-American chef, restaurateur, bestselling author and TV personality. Known for her hit series Korean Food Made Simple and her leadership in modern Korean cuisine, Judy has worked in the kitchens of Gordon Ramsay, The Fat Duck, and The French Laundry, as well as launching popular restaurants like Jinjuu and Seoul Bird in the UK and USA. She has recently released her third book, K-Quick: Korean Food in 30 Minutes or Less.
