The Embassy of Chile in the United Kingdom and the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) invite you to a special evening dedicated to raising awareness about one of Chile’s most unique and endangered species: Darwin’s frog (Rhinoderma darwinii).

This event will highlight the groundbreaking work being carried out by ZSL, in collaboration with the Government of Chile and Parque Tantauco, to rescue and protect Darwin’s frog—an iconic species threatened by the spread of a deadly fungal disease.
We will screen ZSL’s short documentary, capturing the urgency of this conservation mission, followed by a panel discussion featuring:
- Dr. Andrés Valenzuela-Sánchez, Chilean wildlife scientist and Darwin’s frog expert
- Dr. Ben Tapley, ZSL Curator of Herpetology and project lead in the UK
