Are you or someone you know leaving school this year and thinking about a creative future? This enrollment event is designed for young people aged 16+ — and for parents, carers and friends who want to learn more about the opportunities available.

RuTC’s A-Level Graphics & Illustration gives young people the chance to develop their potential as a graphic designer, animator, concept artist or illustrator. From children’s books, fashion magazines, branding, gaming, animation, film and more — every year, students bring their own interests into their projects.

This is a hands-on studio experience course where you’ll learn the full design process through tutorials, workshops, and lectures in design, drawing, illustration, typography, and industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. You’ll also explore illustration, letterforms, packaging design, and more — all while discovering your own creative voice.

Entry requirements: average point score of 5, including GCSE English and Maths, plus a passion for drawing.

Career pathways: Graphic & Multimedia Designer, Animator, Illustrator, Game Designer, Art Director — basically, any creative studio-based profession.
