Description
Discover the importance of incorporating social science into your search for a partner and learn research-supported ways of flirting to show your interest in someone.
Would you like to be in a relationship, but it’s just not happening? Do you feel it’s “hard work” and “all the good ones are taken”? Jean Smith, social and cultural anthropologist and founder of Flirtology, leads this evening class to help you pinpoint where you are going wrong in your search for love and how to get on the right track.
The first half of the class focuses on the benefits of using social science as a foundation for meeting your match. If negative mind chatter and rollercoaster emotions are currently leading your partner search, they will be replaced by solid, thoroughly researched data.
Once you understand how to find the right people, you need to know how to attract them, so the second half of the evening is all about flirting.
Designed for all genders and combining theory and practice, this class will provide you with the tools to better identify the right partner. You will leave feeling relaxed, hopeful and positive, knowing what you have been doing wrong in the past and how to fix it.
Some of the topics covered...
- How to incorporate social scientific methodologies into your partner search
- Examining your partner criteria: why your criteria may be ineffective and what to do about it
- Why you may find flirting scary – rather than fun – and how to change your outlook
- H.O.T. A.P.E: a step-by-step guide on how to flirt (without looking desperate), using Jean’s scientific research on flirting
- How to deal with rejection by looking at it as something positive and useful
- How to get results without compromising who you are
- Q&A: an invaluable opportunity to ask Jean any questions you have about the science of flirting
