About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Craig Tregurtha, former managing editor of The Times and Isle of Man resident, has seen all sides of crises and media storms. As a newspaper executive demanding answers from scandal-hit governments and large corporations - as well as leading the response to crises within his own organisation including the horrific kidnap of journalists in Syria, terrorist attacks on The Times' doorstep and internal corporate dramas.

He has seen at firsthand how some organisations have dealt with crisis situations effectively and watched others fail catastrophically. Craig will explain what it feels like to be caught in the centre of a crisis and how to navigate a path through.

Joining him will be Eric Hollreiser who now runs island-based PR company Ace Hollreiser. Eric has managed the reputation for some of the world's best-known brands including Disney, Microsoft, Activision/Blizzard and Poker Stars.
