Description

Explore the wonderful displays of French 18th-century painting, furniture, porcelain and old master paintings at the Wallace Collection in London with Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones.

The Wallace Collection is home to one of Europe’s finest collections of art, paintings, furniture and porcelain. During this intimate masterclass, Guardian art critic Jonathan Jones will guide a small group of people around this fascinating museum, and discuss some of his favourite works of art, including pieces by Watteau, Fragonard, Titian and Velázquez.

Over the course of the morning, you’ll discover how to interpret works of art, and appreciate how they’ve been created. Plus, you’ll learn how to enjoy art more fully, and have plenty of opportunities to chat with Jonathan and ask any questions you might have about art.

Suitable for beginners or those who want to deepen their understanding of art, this is a phenomenal opportunity to explore one of the world’s finest collections with one of the UK’s most passionate art critics.
