About this event
ATTENTION: Workshop times have changed! Please note that the workshops are now taking place on Wednesday 9 September and Monday 14 September.
The UK Government is currently working on an Integrated Review to create a new National Strategy for the UK. They have invited Agora and the School of International Futures (SOIF) to get young people's vision of what the UK's role should be in the world towards 2045.
We want to hear your ideas and concerns for what the UK should be doing towards 2045. Who will be our allies? Where does the way forward go with Brexit, trade, and immigration? What should the UK do to address climate change, inequality, and global peace and security?
Join our Policy Kitchen Challenge to influence UK decision-makers. We want to make the voices of a young and diverse UK heard to create a future-focused National Strategy. Our online workshops will be hosted on Wednesday 9 September and Monday 14 September.
Your vision will help create a National Strategy for the Next Generations, a report which will be handed over to the UK Government. We strongly believe that this democratic approach to policy-making will help create a resilient and sustainable UK now and in the future.
Workshop speakers include former Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Serena Stone, and senior British diplomat and House of Lords crossbencher, Lord Peter Ricketts.
