ANP Practitioner Day

A naturopathic approach to methylation through case studies, with Wild Nutrition

Thursday 19th October 2017 CNM London 6.30 – 8.30pm

Lorna Driver-Davies, naturopathic nutritional therapist will lead you through a presentation looking at clinical cases which have benefited from a naturopathic approach to methylation to support a wide range of symptoms.

A key part of the presentation will cover the importance of using nutrients in their most natural ‘food’ forms as an integral part of regulating. This is important in situations where the practitioner suspects methylation issues, but is unable to see the methylation ‘picture’ of a client via genetic or other test.

Lorna practices functional medicine intertwined with the wisdom of naturopathy and her own love of botanicals and herbs. This integrated approach is reflected in the Wild Nutrition approach to supporting methylation, beyond simply looking at “pathways” and SNP’s to a wider understanding of the client picture.

Those attending the talk will understand the importance of seeing the entire client picture to fully understand how methylation is affecting their health status directly and indirectly. We will discuss the use of botanicals, diet and lifestyle practices to support methylation. Often seen as a “complex” subject, it can be addressed by using simple, natural methods.

Lorna is Clinical & Education Manager at Wild Nutrition and Senior Nutritional therapist at Wild Clinic, a Nutrition Practice. The clinic redefines nutrition practice, uniting a functional medicine approach with the fundamental need to view health as a ‘whole-body’ experience, respecting the influence of the mind, body and spirit. We refer to this approach as 360 Wellness.
