About this event

Community • City & Town

We're pleased to present the next event in our Talks series, A New Perspective of Glasgow with Rosalie Menon & Alistair Leith.

The focus of the talk will be the evolving city skyline and the social history it represents. Glasgow's transformation from the Victorian city to a post-industrial landscape with tower blocks will be discussed and the talk will be illustrated with images capturing the 21st Century interventions within the city's contemporary skyline.

The drone footage captures the city from a new perspective picking up architectural detail from buildings at high level whilst also providing a longer view to the backdrop of the hills beyond the city.

Copies of Glasgow From Above will be available at a reduced price of £25 (£30RRP). Card payments are accepted.

Tickets are by donation, with a suggested contribution of £2 - £10. Your support helps us continue to run these events and bring insightful discussions to the community.
