A night at the IOMAS observatory

About this Event
Interested in Astronomy, well join us for a "Public Open Night" at the Isle of Man Astronomical Society Observatory. Your visit will include an guided tour of the premises including the Dome, and if clear you will have an opportunity to see some of the features of the Manx Dark skies through our telescope and you will also have a guided tour of the night sky with one of our members. If cloudy there will be a presentation about the features visible in the night sky.
Your ticket includes a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. All are welcome, but any budding astronomer under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note there is a one way track up to the observatory so access to the will be one way only (up to the observatory) until 8.30pm. So you will not be able to drop off and return down the lane.
