A Night Walk in Childwall Woods and Fields

The woods belong to the wildlife after dark, except for one night a year when the bat detectors are brought out to discover what goes on when the sun goes down.

If the weather is kind, the pond will be the perfect place to see our bats in action, and we may be lucky enough to hear or see some other nocturnal residents.

Meet at the Countisbury Drive entrance. You will need a torch and strong shoes.
