Event description

Dylan Frankland, Rosa Day-Jones, Tobias Grace and Katherine Lea present:

Opening our national tour in Cornwall with TWO performances at:

The Driftwood Spars Pub in St Agnes on the 20th and 21st April, 7:30pm.

We'd love to see you there! (Why not grab some food beforehand? From first hand experience we can tell you that the food is great.)

We are using a PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE scheme, meaning that you can reserve a ticket before the performance without having to pay for a ticket beforehand. Then on exiting the show, you have the opportunity to make a donation of what you decide you want to, or can afford to pay, based on your overall enjoyment of the performance. Please be aware we will only be able to accept cash donations.

“This summer, she comes to my door and tells me she’s been diagnosed with depression and I think to myself –

not this again”

My friend.

My cousin.

My sister.

My step dad.

So, we know what you’re thinking.
It’s going to get real sad and serious from now on.
And you’re not wrong, there is going to be stuff in here that is sad.
And serious.
But don’t worry. We’ve got pork scratchings.

A piece about mental health and offering support.
About not getting it right all of the time.
But trying.

'an affable lot... you could well find yourself buying them a drink' The PRSD

'Powerful and enlightening'
Rethink Mental Illness

'Angry but uplifting; powerless but empowering, sad, but ultimately upbeat; defiant'

'Curtains are pulled open and walls dissolved as we’re invited... to share in a very real experience. Nothing is filtered out, even the stuff that’s hard to talk about. Every one of the ensemble articulates themselves wonderfully'
'Honest and engaging'

'The small ensemble work beautifully together... The writing is compelling and assured, with many poetic moments, very clever observations... and perceptive humour' The Peg
