Event Details

Do you or your organisation work in equality and rights and/or tackle poverty and inequality? Do you want to help shape a platform for people experiencing discrimination and inequality to have their voices heard? Have your say at the Equality and Rights Network (EaRN) event on the 21st October, an opportunity to shape this dynamic new network.

The focus of this half day event will be to shape EaRN through identifying key priorities in equalities and rights and meeting with other like-minded individuals and organisations from both the third sector and public agencies. Taking place during Challenge Poverty Week, we will also be exploring poverty and its relationship with inequality. The event will involve interactive workshops, guest speakers, networking opportunities and a buffet lunch.

Come along to have your say in how EaRN can provide opportunities for those who most need it to have their voices heard.

We want to ensure that everyone who wishes to attend is able to, so please contact us directly if you have any support or accessibility requirements (including childcare, language and translation needs).

Organiser

Equality and Rights Network (EaRN)

Equality and Rights Network (EaRN) was set up in 2015 to create a network of people, organisations and communities who work in partnership with public services, to advance equality and tackle poverty and inequality in Edinburgh.

We work across four main areas: raising awareness, community engagement, research and dialogue.  We aim to use creative approaches to get people thinking and talking about equality and rights. For more information visit our website at www.equalityandrightsnetwork.org.uk
