If you miss the days of running barefoot, playing like a kid, and living without phones or computers—this is your moment.

Whether you’re from Beijing or Bamako, Cairo or Chennai, Accra or Amsterdam, Seoul or São Paulo, Karachi or Kraków—this is for anyone who just wants to feel human again.

This is a small idea from an expat, inspired by an episode of an Indian sitcom (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah) where adults come together to play childhood games—and end up rediscovering joy.

What Games Can We Play?

Expect the playful chaos of:

• Kho-Kho, Langdi, Gilli Danda, Chain Chain

• Chinese Jump Rope, Catch the Dragon’s Tail, Eagle and Chicks

• Ampe, Kudoda, Clapping Games

• Duck Duck Goose, Hopscotch, Sack Race, Tug-of-War, Freeze Tag

…and anything else someone brings along from their corner of the world.

We’ll try to play games that don’t require any tools. If there’s a game you love and want to bring something for it, you’re more than welcome to do so. We can play with the tools you bring—or with just the memories you bring.
