A private tour of the Cass Sculpture Foundation followed by a three-course...
Tue 25 April 2017, 09:00 – 18:00 BST
Apollo Collector Services is delighted to invite you to a Spring visit of the Cass Sculpture Foundation in Goodwood. This event will be an opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes access into the unique commissioning and educational charity founded in 1992 by Wilfred and Jeannette Cass. The foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a platform for artists to create ambitious sculpture and share their work with a wider audience.
Spend a serene day at the idyllic park, where you’ll gain priceless insights from both a private talk by Executive Director Clare Hindle and a tour by Curator Helen Turner. You’ll be shown around 80 monumental works within the grounds, all set against the backdrop of Sussex countryside. Not only will you be privy to expert opinions and unique perspectives on the pieces, but you’ll also be personally introduced to the founder himself, Wilfred Cass. We’ll finish the day with a leisurely three-course lunch at The Fox Goes Free in the picturesque village of Charlton, before returning to London in the late afternoon.
Only 15 spots available.
Pick up: 9am from St James's Square, St. James's, London SW1Y 4LE
