Event Details

Join us for an exclusive screening of an inspiring film about the meaning of life and the journey towards a better world - including a discussion with special guest Satish Kumar.

A Quest for Meaning is an award winning film about the things that really matter. Above all it's the story of two childhood friends, Marc and Nathanaël, whose lives follow very different paths but who meet up again and find they have the same need for answers...

Together they embark on a memorable journey to find solutions to a world in crisis and meet a wide range of inspiring people who are helping to build a better future.

After the film there will be a discussion with former monk and long-term peace activist, Satish Kumar, one of the stars of the film, who has been quietly setting the Global Agenda for change for over 50 years.

"You cannot have unlimited growth on a limited planet. We have to learn from nature" ~ Satish Kumar

About The Film (running time 88 mins)

This documentary film recounts the life-changing journey by two childhood friends who question the workings of the world, our relationship with nature and the meaning of life.

WHY? We are prisoners of a logic which is proving destructive for mankind and planet Earth. To break the deadlock, Marc and Nathanaël question the fundamental beliefs of modern society: separation, competition, individualism.

WHO? They discover amazing insights from activists, biologists, philosophers and guardians of ancient traditions from across the world, including interviews with Vandana Shiva, Bruce Lipton, Satish Kumar, Pierre Rabhi and more.

HOW? A Quest for Meaning was self-produced and distributed thanks to the generosity of a huge community of online supporters and a network of local associations and individuals.
