Have a go at Regency dancing in a Regency Town House. Period music, period characters.

You are cordially invited to April 28th 1831:

Mr. Henry Adams, gentleman, Mrs.Heyrick, Mrs Livius and Miss Field cordially invite you to join them at the recently completed Regency Town House, to partake in an

Elegant Entertainment

Your hosts will prepare you for the most fashionable of balls in the town by guiding you through the steps of some of the most simple of dances and, in doing so, bring your dancing to perfection. Mrs. Heyrick will be accompanying the dances exquisitely on her recorder.

Do not be concerned yourself if you have not engaged in this recreation before as they will be your very trusted guides and ensure pleasure is received by all.

Regency Delights offer improvised role play, interacting with and responding to the public in the first person, allowing the audience to gain a thought-provoking and entertaining insight into The Georgian Period. They will be performing throughout as if they are in 1831.

You will then be invited to Afternoon Tea

You will then be able to withdraw to the dining room for some delicious Regency tea and cake which are included in your ticket price. On the menu are the delightful fanchonettes, a recipe from the 1830s, a cake enjoyed by high society across Europe, including the Prince Regent.

This is a fundraising event on behalf of the Regency Town House. All profits will go towards the continuing upkeep and restoration of the building.
