Getting there: Car park at starting point has good capacity. First Eastern Counties' Service 5 (Yarmouth-Burgh Castle via Bradwell) stops outside the Queen's Head pub, which is a short walk from the start point
A two and three quarter mile ramble along the Angles Way and around the ruins of Burgh Castle Fort to discover the Roman hertiage of the area and the wildlife of Breydon Water. The walk will be led by guides from the Norfolk Archaeological trust.
Any other information: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, a local pub is available for refreshments at the end of the walk. Public toilets are not available but there are toilets at local pub the Queen’s Head.
