The cycle of the year, after the Winter Solstice when the Light starts returning, takes us on a journey through a very Sacred Space …the time between the changeover of the years

The period 25 December to 6 January is a very special time with potent energies, a time where considerable transformation can occur when one is present, with themselves in stillness

There is much debate around what constitutes the 12 Holy Nights ( 13 Days and 12 Nights) with the 12 nights symbolising the 12 months of the following year….what arises during this time gives insights for the potential of each of those months in the year ahead.

The 12 Holy Nights have their origin in the Germanic & Celtic tradition and stem from the difference between the days in the solar year (365 days) and the lunar year (354 days). By way of compensation for the difference in days, the Celts inserted 11 intercalary days (and thus 12 nights) which are quasi ‘non-existent’, during which the laws of nature are suspended & the gates to ‘the other world’ are wide open & accessible.

The time between the Winter Solstice & Christmas Day is a time of preparation so that when this Sacred Journey begins, on the Eve of Christmas Day December 25th, it can be truly honoured and incredible potentialities reached.

The fun lies in working together with these magical energies to make a conscious, co-creative transition from the old into the NEW

During this journey, we will ask for the support of our future selves, release old programmes and patterns that no longer serve us, let go of the old beliefs that block us as we celebrate self-love, self-appreciation and gratitude making a new conscious commitment to ourselves.
