A Safe Space Level 3 Online Training - 26/04/22

To take part in this training, you must have already completed Levels 1 & 2. If you haven't, please complete these before booking a space. Click here to complete these e-learnings. We will check each record to ensure that these Levels have been completed and if they haven’t, you will unfortunately lose your space on the training.

We also recommend that you complete the Level 3 e-learning before taking part. You can complete it here .

The training will be 3hrs15 and any resources needed will be emailed to you in advance.

Please only register if you can definitely attend. Please also let us know at least 4 working days in advance if you do need to cancel, so that we can reallocate your space to somebody else.

Important - Please only sign up to this training session if the session is taking place within your renewal window. Your renewal window opens 120 days before your A Safe Space level expires. If you complete a session before the window opens, then your attendance will not be recognised and you will need to complete this again. You can check the expiry dates and renewal windows on the learning dashboard on the learning platform

You’ll learn about:

1. Recognising the signs and indicators of abuse.
2. How to report a safeguarding concern.
3. Girlguiding's policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
4. Completing practical and well-written risk assessments.
5. Your responsibilities as a volunteer.
6. Where to find and review the contents of this session.

You should receive an email from Girlguiding NWE 7 days before the training with resources and the Zoom joining information. If you believe that you have not received this email, please ensure you check your Spam/Junk folder before contacting us. Please do not leave it until the day of the training to contact us.
